Coles Shining Stars opened in Gahanna in 2024 with one belief: every child deserves the joy of dance — and a place where they're known by name.
Founder Karleigh Coles built a studio where the same floor is shared by beginners and competitors, every ability and every background. Cost is never the reason a child can't dance. Here, every dancer belongs.
Our stars perform with the Columbus Dance Alliance and worship through movement at Kingdom Image Arts. But the moment we love most is quieter — a child who walked in unsure walking out as part of something.

Our Dancers
Serving children who are underserved in the dance community.
We serve youth and young adults who face barriers to traditional participation — whether social, emotional, behavioral, or developmental. Our students include those from underserved communities, children with special needs, and individuals navigating trauma or life challenges. Through dance, we create a shared language that builds confidence, connection, and community for every student we serve.
